February 4-8 2013 I will be working with 2nd graders at Spann Elementary School. The students will create their own puppet projects. They will also be learning how to tell stories using their puppets. On Friday, the classes will present a puppet play to another class. Excitment is growing looking forward to dancing men, hand puppets and story theaters.
On March 14, 2013 I will being on of the performers at the Storytelling Program at the Newberry Opera House. Program begins at 8 pm. Contact Newberry Opera House at www.newberryoperahouse.com or 803-276-6264.
June will find me combining my storytelling and cornshuck dolls at the John C. Campbell Folk School during their Little Middle week.
